Explain concepts, PRs and designs to one specific reader: build a persona, write only what they don't know, and check every quoted output and figure with tools. Figures as Mermaid, D2 (TALA / ELK / dagre), SVG or HTML, held to fact sheets, rendered and checked (overlaps, clipping, arrow readability, phone width), then looked at and fixed by eye; layout candidates side by side; Iconify icons (lucide, logos). Simulated beta readers (first-reader). Single crash courses or chaptered books. From vlmkit: D2 diagrams held to fact sheets (d2-diagram) and D2 slide decks checked with vlmkit gates (d2-slides).
How to install Explainer in Grok Build
