n8n-io/skills plugin for Grok Build
Production-grade n8n workflow building skills. Pairs with the official n8n instance-level MCP server to teach Claude how to architect, validate, and ship workflows that work in production.
How to install n8n-io/skills in Grok Build
grok plugin install n8n-io/skills --trustReview before you trust it. --trust lets this plugin's hooks, MCP servers and scripts run code on your computer. It's a community repo that neither xAI nor GrokStacks has reviewed, so read its code first.
We install this repo directly: Grok Build 1.0.62 can't install it through its own marketplace file. Then start a new Grok session, or press r in /plugins, to load it.
Command format: Grok Build's plugin guide
Skills work, MCP part needs manual setup. Grok loads n8n-io/skills's skills and commands, but not its MCP server: it needs settings that Claude Code asks for when you install it (userConfig), and Grok doesn't ask for them. Add the server yourself with grok mcp add (see grok mcp add --help), using the server address and settings from the plugin's README.
What we checked: on Oct 18, 2026 it installed with grok 1.0.62 and Grok found 15 skills. That's an install check only: we haven't run it in a live Grok session.
